Bupleurum plus Dragon Bone and Oyster Shell Decoction
Ingredients for 1 bulk herb vacuum sealed bag:
Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix) 24g, Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix) 6g, Zhi Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma preparatum) 15g, Dang Shen (Codonopsis Radix) 18g, Gui Zhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) 9g, Fu Ling (Poria), Long Gu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi) 9g, Mu Li (Ostreae Concha) 9g, Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) 12g, Dai Zhe Shi (Haematitum) 2g, Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma recens) 9g, Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) 12g Da Huang is in a separate bag, so that the practitioner can choose to either remove it from the process, cook the full amount with the other herbs, or have the patient add it the last 5-10 minutes.
Sheng Jiang and Da Zao are not included and should be added by the practitioner or patient before cooking. Sheng Jiang can be purchased at the local supermarket, and you may choose to stock the single herb Hong Zao.
