This formula is indicated for fire toxin manifesting as boils and carbuncles with skin redness, swelling, heat, and pain along with fever and chills. Effective for deep-rooted and hard lesions which resemble chestnuts or nails. Tongue is red with yellow coat. Pulse is rapid.

5g 2 times per day.
