Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan can warm the middle energizer and tonify deficiency, and direct adverse flow of qi downwards to stop pain. It is used for the treatment of diarrhea without thirst, vomiting, abdominal pain, cold extremities, anorexia, cardiac pain, and cholera, etc. due to asthenic cold in the middle energizer. Also for infantile chronic convulsion caused by loss of blood due to yang insufficiency, saliva spitting preference and thoracic obstruction after diseases due to asthenic cold in the middle energizer.

Reinforcing the kidney and supporting yang, warming middle-jiao and strengthening the spleen. It is used for the decline of kidney-yang, insufficiency of spleen-yang, coldness and pain in the epigastrium, vomiting and diarrhea, extreme cold of the limbs. It is also used for ulcer due to cold and deficiency, ulcerous inflammation of the colon due to insufficiency of yang, tuberculosis of the intestines due to insufficiency of spleen-yang.
